In 2005, Dr. Paulsen purchased this clinic which was formerly "Just for Cats".

Re-naming the clinic to Cats & Dogs Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Paulsen modified and updated the facilities to include care for dogs and pocket pets, so as not to limit her scope in which she could provide veterinary care.

Dr. Julie Paulsen is the owner and veterinarian at Cats and Dogs Veterinary Clinic. She is a native Floridian and was raised in Palm City. Growing up, she was a member of the local 4-H group and rode horses competitively. After receiving her Bachelor's in Science degree from University of Central Florida, she completed her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Since graduating, Dr. Paulsen has worked in several different capacities of veterinary medicine. She has worked with all animals, large and small. She completed an equine internship at Palm Beach Equine Clinic in Wellington. She has also worked at the local Pet Emergency Clinic.

She currently resides in Palm City with her husband and dog, "Duke". They enjoy fishing and diving and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Paulsen is a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), Martin County Veterinary Association (MCVA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). She also is a member of the Martin County Junior League.

Jill is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from St. Petersburg College in 1996. Jill

She has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years.

She resides in Jensen Beach with her husband, their 2 cats "Marco" and "DaVinci", and her 15-year-old Westi-Poodle mix, "Champagne".

Jill has been with Cats & Dogs for over a year now.

Caroline is a certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from St. Petersburg College this year.

She has worked in the veterinary field for 8 years.

She has 3 dogs, 4 horses and 4 cats.

Renee is a part-time receptionist at Cats & Dogs and offers obedience training for our clients.
Renee

She has worked in the veterinary field for over 14 years. She has also been a professional dog trainer for the past 7 years.

Her training specializes in behavior modification and basic obedience.

Renee also has a pet sitting service which offers pet sitting in a "just like home" environment.

She is eager to rescue, care for or foster anything with four legs, fur and a tail.

Angela is a full-time receptionist and at Cats & Dogs Veterinary Clinic.

She is happy to help you schedule an appointment or drop-off for your pet.

"Bianca" is a 14 year old domestic shorthair that has been residing at the clinic since 1997 when she was abandoned by her owner.

Her hobbies are eating, playing with toys and greeting all of her clients.
